Sutter Health Plus is a health plan that’s owned and operated by Sutter Health, a nationally recognized and well-respected Northern California healthcare system. Launched in 2014, we’re the smart combination of both care and coverage — something that makes us unique among the typical insurance companies and their offerings. Our focus is on providing you with convenient and affordable access to high-quality care.

New for 2024: If you reside in our service area you can enroll in one of our plans even if your employer is headquartered elsewhere.

Comprehensive Provider Network
When you select Sutter Health Plus, you have access to our network of high-quality doctors, hospitals, care centers, urgent and walk-in care facilities, and other services. Our network includes 29 hospitals and campuses, more than 8,000 providers, and dozens of care centers, urgent care centers and other locations. We also include many of Sutter Health’s nationally recognized providers that outperform state and national averages in nearly every quality measure. Convenient Digital Tools
When you join us as a member, you’ll have access to easy-to-use online tools that will simplify how you manage your coverage and care.

•  Member Portal. Use the Sutter Health Plus Member Portal to view or change your PCP, view and print ID cards, see your plan documents, and more.
• Pharmacy Portal. We partner with CVS Caremark® for pharmacy benefits. CVS offers a Pharmacy Portal to help you find pharmacies, check drug costs, view drugs covered by your plan, refill prescriptions and more. 
• Patient Portal. Sutter’s patient portal, My Health Online*, will help you schedule in-person or virtual visits, pay bills, message your care team, view test results, renew prescriptions, and more.

 Mental and Behavioral Health Resources
In addition to taking care of your medical needs, it’s also important to maintain your mental health and wellbeing. 

• Mental & Behavioral Health Benefits. Your coverage includes benefits for mental health and substance use disorder services through U.S. Behavioral Health Plan, California.
•  Mental Health App. Self Care from AbleTo is an app that offers self-care techniques, coping tools, meditations, and more — anytime, anywhere.

Your health doesn’t always fit neatly into someone else’s schedule. Here are four ways you can access care when and where you need it.

•  Sutter Walk-In Care. Convenient and modern neighborhood care centers for everyday care for common health needs.
• Video visits. See a Sutter Health doctor or clinician from your home, work, or wherever you may be¹.
• Nurse Advice Line. Our 24/7 line is staffed by registered nurses ready to help determine the right level of care.
• Urgent care. With several urgent care clinics in our network, you’ll have peace of mind knowing you can access care that’s needed now, but isn’t an emergency.
